UK Services Editions

Services Editions I'm looking for

There are a lot of Services Editions that I'm looking for, including many that I know exist, but don't know the author or title.  There are no doubt also many more that I don't even know exist.  So if you have anything that you think might be of interest, please get in touch through the 'Contact Us' page.  I'm not too fussy about condition, and even grubby or torn books may be of interest.  Regimental or unit markings, including stamps or stickers can even add to the interest of books.  More detailed information on some of the books I'm looking for below.

1.  Guild Books Services Editions

2.  Hodder & Stoughton Services Yellow Jackets

3.  Hutchinson Group Services Editions

4.  Hutchinson 'Free Victory Gift' paperbacks

5.  Methuen Services Editions

6. Collins Services Editions

1.  Guild Books Services Editions

I can’t list all the books I’m looking for, not just because there are so many of them, but because I don’t know the titles and authors, so I don’t really know what I’m looking for.   I just know that there are a lot of gaps in the numbering of the ones I have, so there are probably many more.

The main thing to know is that there are the two formats as shown below, standard and digest format.

standard format on the left, digest format on the right

There are not many books in digest format that I want, but I am looking for 'Death in the doll's house' by Hannah Lees and Lawrence Bachmann, numbered S218,  ‘The pursuit of love’ by Nancy Mitford, numbered S224, and also a decent copy of 'Men of Branber' by Edward G. Thompson, numbered S228.

For books in standard format, there’s a fair chance I’m interested in anything dated 1943, and anything coloured red.   And if the details are not included on the checklists page, then I’d love to get a copy, or even just to know the title and author.  Here’s a sample list of particular titles that I know about and would like to get a copy of, but it doesn’t cover everything.
