Services Editions for sale

 I have a large number of Services Editions for sale at reasonable prices, mostly less than £5.  A few examples below.  Use the Contact Us page for more details.

Please note that there has been a large increase in UK postal prices.  To qualify for lower prices, thin paperbacks such as these must be sent as a 'large letter' rather than a parcel, which means that the amount of packing must be limited.

The travelling butcher by Alice Campbell

Published for the Crime Club by Collins in 1945.  Collins Services Edition c293.  The first edition in hardback was in Collins Crime Club in 1944, but it was not published in the main paperback series until 1950, so that this is the first paperback edition.

Cover fairly battered - section of surface torn away on back cover.  Pages browned, but solid and complete.

Published for the Crime Club by Collins in 1945.  Collins Services Edition c294.  The first edition in hardback was in Collins Crime Club in 1943, but so far as I am aware, this is the first paperback edition - possibly the only paperback edition in Collins Crime Club?

Bokk generally a bit battered but solid and complete.  WH Smith sticker on front cover.

Published by Collins in 1945.  Collins Services Edition c290.

Val Gielgud was the brother of Sir John Gielgud.  This is a novel of the Napoleonic period, first published in 1943.

Condition generally very good for a wartime paperback.

Generally good condition, but with some spine damage and a part of the half-title missing.  'Canadian YMCA' stamp on half-title.  Ink lines aded to the lettering on the front cover.  Very scarce.
